- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Caufield is by far the best dentist ever to have worked on me. He very accurately evaluated and is currently treating a severe occlusion/TMJ issue that has been missed or misunderstood by all previous dentists. He partnered with Dr. Randy James, a neck alignment specialist (of the atlas disc), to have my neck adjusted to the optimal position while bringing my teeth and jaw into their optimal position. I have seen outstanding improvement in my posture, which includes many years of being hunched over, and my whole spine has realigned as a result of his care. My clenching has disappeared, and I am finding a tremendous reduction of jaw tension and painful sensitivity with my ears/hearing that resulted from the strain. I found him through the work of Dr. Clayton Chan, who promotes GNM dentistry to correct severe occlusion and TMJ issues. Dr. Caufield is trained in this model and is a leader in the field. Before meeting him, I had tried to get my issue addressed with innumerable "specialists" and found that I had wasted thousands of dollars in multiple treatments they inaccurately thought would address the source of the pain. Those treatments included a failed (regular) NM orthotic therapy, a drawer full of painful splints (10+), and two courses of braces that only worsened the issue and brought my neck out of its alignment. I give Dr. Caufield the highest recommendation, and remind others of the advantages of finding one doctor who can take patients from start to finish- GNM orthotic therapy, braces, and tooth reconstruction- without the need to refer out. He has the latest technology and an outstanding office. He is kind, generous, and extremely detail oriented! I truly would not go anywhere else!May 04, 2017by Jerry K
